Reflections

I don’t remember the moment that I decided to be an artist. I know it happened recently (the decision) but the raw talent has always been there. I wish I could recall that deciding moment. Having an epiphany like that is life-changing and it’s almost like a new world opens up to you. I denied calling myself one for so long and couldn’t seem to piece together why I enjoyed drawing, painting, coloring, looking at art, etc. (the list goes on).

But now I’m here. And I am very proud to call myself an artist. It’s like my life and my purpose makes more sense knowing exactly what I want to do and what I’m meant to do. I can only hope the world receives it as I continue sharing a part of me on paper, canvas, and any other supports.

And it’ll continue to get better with time.
